Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 4 nos rice idlis (each cut into 8 pieces)


  • 1 tsp chilli powder


  • 1 nos chopped onion


  • 1 tsp garam masala


  • 1/2 tsp sambar masala


  • 4 nos whole dry red chillies


  • 1 tbsp grated coconut


  • 1 sprig chopped curry leaves


  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves


  • 1 tsp mustard seeds


  • 1 tsp fresh ginger-garlic paste


  • 1/2 tsp salt or to taste


  • 2 tbsp peanut oil

Directions

  • Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan and shallow fry idli pieces with chilli powder and salt.
  • Keep the fried idli pieces aside.
  • Now heat the remaining oil ,add mustard seeds,curry leaves and sauté
  • Add chopped onion, ginger garlic paste, chopped coriander leaves,whole red chillies, Sambhar masala, garam masala, and grated coconut one by one and mix well.
  • Now add the fried idli pieces and mix well.
  • Serve hot with coconut chutney..
